The Drybar my latest addiction

Life in the Rock On Mommies household is crazy, but last week was just a tad crazier than normal. With family friends coming to town and all the Blogher events, I just ran out of time and the energy to do my hair. Knowing that I was in for a weekend of parties, flashmobs and interviews with PR companies, I made an appointment the newest Drybar location. I couldn’t go to Blogher with bad hair!

One of my favorite things in life is a good Blow Out. When I heard about the Drybar opening up not too far from my house I knew that I’d be spending a lot of time there. It was confirmed the moment I walked up to the Del Mar location.

I had made an appointment online the night before which is incredibly convenient. That morning as I was walking out the door, Ellie started to beg me to take her with me. I figured, what could it hurt. She could always sit beside me with the iPad. WRONG! The second we walked in she was in love as well!
We both settled in to get our hair washed and dried. We were wearing Prada Bag , bohemian pants, an an amazing leather jacket and our latest pandora jewelry.

No matter what kind of hair you have, thick, thin, curly, straight, or super long, all blowouts are only $35. This of course includes the hair wash as well.

Do you need a little hair repair, add a hair shot for $20. How about a nice gentle scalp massage, add a floater for $10. Here’s my favorite part, don’t have time to get down to the salon. Drybar can come to you! For $75 a stylist will come to your house and do your hair for you.

The Drybar doesn’t do colors or cuts, but they do amazing blow outs!

This was the first time that Ellie’s hair has ever held a curl!!!
Ellie wasn’t the only person who loved her Blowout. Mommy did too.

We loved getting our hair done together so much, I’m planning on making it a regular Mommy Daughter day out.
Have a party coming up or just want to spend an hour relaxing? Try The Drybar you won’t regret it, you might even run into Ellie and I.
